Dr. Elizabeth Mitchell grew up in the Wichita area. Not too long after she learned to walk, she told her family that she was going to be a dentist! After high school, she took her high-spirited and energetic personality to Allen Field House as she cheered on the Kansas Jayhawks as a Rock Chalk Dancer. She graduated from The University of Kansas with a degree in business administration and a minor in entrepreneurship. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Missouri in Kansas City. While at UMKC, she was in the top 7% of her class while being a fixed and removable prosthodontics honors student.
Dr. Mitchell enters every room with her gregarious personality to brighten your day and smile. She is able to help all ages of patients with the wide range of procedures she offers. She loves to challenge herself and expand her knowledge and skills with continuing education classes. On any given day, we can find her extracting teeth, placing implants, delivering a denture, saving a tooth with a root canal and a crown, perfecting a smile through cosmetic dentistry or straightening a smile with clear Aligners! From the start of her career, she has striven to provide excellent care and leave you with a smile you are proud of. Dr. Mitchell is passionate about giving personalized care to every single one of her patients. Her passion for dentistry is evident and she feels blessed and fortunate that she is able to live out her lifelong goal of being a dentist.
When Dr. Mitchell is not at work, it is unlikely you find her sitting around. She is a Junior Achievement volunteer where she teaches elementary school kids about the importance of financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness. She also donates her time by volunteering at KMOM and MMOM by providing free dental care. Dr. Mitchell believes you can never stop improving yourself so she is often doing a DIY project or landscaping around her house. She loves to run with her dog, Benji, and participate in full and half marathons with her mom. In the little time she has left, you can find her traveling or at Table Rock Lake with her boyfriend, Ryan! Dr. Mitchell is thrilled to continue to make a positive impact on the community she grew up in and welcomes all new patients.
